Scorpio asked:

I need to get criminal history record for myself. I know I got a couple public intoxication citations (misdemeanors) and paid them off, but now I need to list it on something, but forgot the dates. The county it occurred in is about 6-7 hrs away, will the local police be able to help me pull my records? (I live in California if it matters)
Can I go to the local court and get my records for the whole state?

Just go to the court records and ask them for a copy of it, but you will have to pay for it.

There are many ways you can go. You can go down to the local courts and wait in line. You can also do free searches online, but sometimes that doesn’t pick up everything. I personally suggest doing some kind of paid search, because of how pain free it is, but that’s just me. This site has some info on it.

    Good Luck!
